In an utterly shocking Monday morning, Shiney Ahuja created more headlines... Well, there are reasons behind that. Shiney Ahuja got arrested for raping his housemaid while his family was away and then while all of India was praying for this innocent looking blue eyed man to come clean from the false blames, he accepted all the charges.

For someone like Shiney, who has Hazaron Khwaishe Aisi, Life in a Metro, Woh Lamhe and Gangster in his kitty and known for his reputation of being supportive and ‘very sober and gentle’ in the Bollywood industry, it was almost disbelieving unless things took serious turn. And if you are still surprised, take that: Shiney was actively helping Deepak Tijori when his daughter was victimized for rape.

We donno if Shiney learned from that incident and got encouraged to do such crime, but nevertheless, Mumbai police gave him a VIP treatment and offered him an AC room to sit and relax and meet his family (wonder how could he face them, I guess its just normal ).

Life in a metro is indeed shiny unless you get caught. No Shiney? Below is how bollywood reacted to the shocking piece of discovery.

Actor Shiney Ahuja is produced in the court on Monday. He has allegedly raped his domestic help and held under the section 376 after the preliminary test that confirmed the sexual assault. He will be in the custody till 18 june.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt expressed while talking to the news channel, “I am ashamed and shocked to hear this. Shiney was actively helping Deepak Tijori when his daughter was victimized for rape. Shiney has been close to us. All I can say is that if he is found guilty, the court will condemn him.”

Vinod Pande, Director who introduced Shiney stated, “I have known him since long and after hearing this I am in shock and can’t comment. All I can say is that industry will incur loss as there are many movies lined up with him. I think we should wait for the final verdict to come”

Manoj Joshi, his co-actor in Bhool Bhoolaiyaa comments, “I have complete faith on Indian judiciary. If any crime is committed accuse should be punished irrespective of his status. I do not know him personally we have worked only in one scene of the film.”

Vinay Pathak who worked with Shiney in the film Khoya Khoya Chand, commented, “I am out of country and do not know the details. I was hinted by my friends in India. I don’t know Shiney personally and haven’t interacted with him. But I was shocked to know this and cannot comment on this.”

Anurag Basu director and friend of the actor said, “Obviously I am very shocked when i saw it in the news. I’m trying to get in touch with him or his relatives to know what exactly happened. Shiney whom I know personally is drastically different from the one in the headline. I am sure that he will get the clean chit. He is being framed. As far as I know he is not this type of person. I don’t see any reason for him to commit this crime. Why will he do this to a maid? This is a trap and there is something fishy. I wish what I believe is true.”

On Sunday June 14th late night, actor Shiney Ahuja has been detained after having been accused of rape by his maid servant aged 19. On Monday June 15th morning, Shiney will be taken to Andheri court. His wife and daughter are out of town at the moment.

Our source reveals, “Shiney was at home with his friends on Sunday evening when police arrived to take him for interrogation. Shiney had invited his friends to watch an English movie at his house.”

He is likely to be produced before a magistrate's court later in the day.

The 18-year-old maid (name withheld), said police sources, had been working with Ahuja for the last one-and-a-half months. "She approached the Oshiwara police at around 7 pm and told the police that Ahuja had raped her," said Amitabh Gupta, additional commissioner of police.

The complainant told the police that she had come for domestic work to Ahuja's flat. The actor's wife was not at home. "He took me into his bedroom, gagged and raped me," the victim is believed to have said in the FIR. The incident took place between 3 pm and 5 pm on Sunday.

"The complainant told the police that she was traumatised after the incident and went to her relatives' place who along with the girl then approached the police station," said DCP Niket Kaushik.

Soon after the complaint was registered, the girl was sent to the Nagpada police hospital for a medical examination late Sunday night.

Shiney stays with his wife and daughter at Oshiwara’s Tarapore Complex and his house is just five minutes walk away from Oshiwara police station. At the time of filing this report, some news channels have started airing the news quoting their sources claim that Shiney has confessed to his crime.

We tried speaking to almost all his co-stars and directors but none of them wished to give their reaction. Shiney has been lying low at the box office especially after the flopping of his last release, Hijack.

He has on hand presently films such as Har Pall, Accident and Chaaloo Movie where he has a special appearance.

Last evening, the whole of Bollywood was shocked by news which no one knew whether to believe or not. The news was that Shiney Ahuja, the lead star of films like Gangster, Hazaron Khwaishen Aisi and Woh Lamhe was accused of raping his maid servant and that the latter had filed a complaint against him at Mumbai's Andheri police station. The domestic help accused the actor of rape, when both of them were alone at the latter's flat. She also added that she was employed at Shiney's home since the past 45 days, and that the incident happened when Shiney's wife and child had gone out.

No sooner the complaint was registered at the Oshiwara police station, the police reached Shiney's flat immediately, where he was partying with his friends. The police charged him under Section 376 of the IPC, which resulted in Shiney spending his Sunday night in the lock up.

Has Mallika Sherawat given a nude scene in her upcoming Hollywood film, Hissss is the first question that comes to mind after watching its trailer. Just recently, the first promo of the much in news anticipated Mallika Sherawat starrer Hissss is out and we must admit it does make for an interesting watch.

The promo gives the impression that it is a no nonsense thriller that is certainly not meant for the faint hearted as it has plenty of blood and gore. A surefire Adults Only certificate cannot be ruled out from Indian Censor Board.

The trailer shows Mallika Sherawat slithering in mud and becoming a deadly snake. She is shown covered in a body suit that fits her like second skin and during many times while watching the trailer it gives the impression that Mallika hasn’t worn anything.

There are sequences shown with many murders happening. In one scene Mallika is shown slithering up a tree and baring her fangs and shocks your wits. Then in another scene she is shown transformed into a helpless woman. Also seen in the trailer are the film’s other Indian stars, Irrfan Khan and Divya Dutta.

The plot of Hissss revolves around a snake woman played by Mallika Sherawat looking for revenge.

Irrfan and Divya Dutta play a couple and reportedly there is a very passionately shot love making scene between the two. The film appears high on special effects.

There were reports earlier that Abhi-Ash were moving to the new bungalow from their current abode salmanaishwarya Are Ash and Salman to stay as neighbours?Jalsa in Juhu, but the two rubbished them, saying they had no intentions of living separately and away from Maa and Paa (Jaya and Amitabh).

For past two and a half years work is going on a huge bungalow situated at Carter Road, Bandra, Mumbai. While no one seems to be confirming it from the Bachchan family, there is a strong buzz within the industry the circles that this bungalow, named Naivedya is going to be the new abode of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Now incidentally, this Naivedya is bang next door to Salman Khan’s plot.

Reveal sources, “Abhi and Aish have been making late night visits to Naivedya to check the progress on their house.

Call it a twist of fate or just luck, Aish’s ex boyfriend Salman Khan’s plot, on which he is reportedly constructing a building for himself and his family, is just next door to Aish’s to be new abode. The building doesn’t have a name yet and the plot is numbered ‘83-A’.

As one passes the road one can see the building under construction (plot 83 A) on the left belongs to Salman Khan, while the white bungalow, Naivedya, on the right belongs to Abhi-Aish. Interestingly, Salman Khan’s building is a little taller with more floors than Abhi-Aish’s villa.

Victory stars the sensation of 2008 Harman Baweja in the role of a cricketer from a humble background rubbing shoulders with the best in the business. “This is for the first time that you’ll see real players will be playing in a film. Except for Harman, all professional players are playing,” said producer Manmohan Shetty. Incidentally, this happens to be his first production post the winding-up at Adlabs. The film’s hero Harman Baweja remained ensconced in the player’s dressing room politely distancing himself from media speculation as his first big release Love Story 2050 is yet to be released. When quizzed about the recent altercations between Indian and Australian players, Lee diplomatically said, “The relations between Indian and Australian cricketers are brilliant. There have been a few instances but these kind of things happen.” Actor Dalip Tahil who plays the coach of Indian cricket team in the field light-heartedly jumped in at this moment, “We are trying to get Brett busy with Bollywood assignments so that he doesn’t find time for cricket.”

Everyone wanted a piece of Brett Lee (though there were some who were overwhelmed with the presence of Mr Highest Average Mike Hussey too). According to sources from South Africa, Yuvraj Singh is believed to be more than just good friends with Mandira Bedi. Buzz is that the cricketer and the commentator have been bonding big time a couple of weeks after the Indian Premiere League took off.

“They were very good friends earlier, but somewhere along the way they got too busy with their schedules and couldn’t really keep in touch,” says our source, adding that Yuvi and Mandy caught up in SA like more than just long-lost buddies. The cricketer and television hottie’s bonding hasn’t gone unnoticed. The two have even made it to the the famous ‘fakeiplplayer’ blog as the author writes, “Sometime during this tournament, the Prince and Sandy Baddy Babe have renewed their long friendship.

They have been seen together in clubs, hotel lobbies and corridors having long discussions on the finer nuances of the beautiful game.” Reportedly, Prince is the blogger’s name for Yuvraj Singh while Sandy Baddy Babe is Mandira Bedi. Mumbai, Hrithik Roshan has made news for a lip-lock again, this time with Latin co-star Barbara Mori in "Kites". But the actor says she helped him discard his inhibitions and they kissed like real-life couples.

"Why are we even talking about kissing? Is that such a big deal? Hasn't our cinema grown up? Yes, there're kissing scenes in the film, but nothing to make me squirm. In fact, I'd be more than happy and completely comfortable watching those kissing scenes with my wife, son and parents when the film is released," Hrithik told IANS.

The star had scorched the headlines when he locked lips with Aishwarya Rai in "Dhoom 2" and "Jodhaa Akbar".

Rationalising the need to look at lip-locking, Hrithik said: " 'Kites' is a love story. It's about people in love. And what do people in love do to express their mutual feelings? In fact, it was Barbara Mori who made me realise how silly we look on screen while shying away from expressing love naturally."

It happened while Hrithik and Barbara were shooting a tough and dangerous action sequence in Santa Fe, New Mexico in the US..

"We were both supposed to jump off from a rooftop at an impossible height. Before we did so our director Anurag Basu suggested I kiss Barbara since we were doing something death-defying and dangerous and potentially lethal. I reached out and kissed her on the cheeks.

"Barbara turned around to ask why I had kissed her on the cheek. 'Given the same situation with your real-life wife, Suzanne, would you kiss her on the cheek?' I was floored by her logic," said Hrithik.

The take was repeated. "And this time I kissed her the way real-life couples would in the situation. On the lips," said Hrithik.

Yashraj Films recently launched a website for its underproduction romantic comedy Pyaar Impossible.

Featuring Priyanka Chopra along with Uday Chopra, the film is all about how a next door geek woos a glamorous unattainable beauty.

But the buzz is that Pyaar Impossible might just be a rip off of Hollywood’s popular Julia Roberts - Hugh Grant starrer Notting Hill.

“It is not true. The only similarity it as that Notting Hill and Pyaar Impossible is that they are about a geek and an unattainable woman. Otherwise there Julia Roberts was a film star and here I am a normal ordinary girl,” says Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra.

Well we hope that the makers would be making some changes to the original plot! What’s more the story and screenplay of the film is actually written by Uday Chopra himself.

“It is Uday’s baby. He has also written it and has an insight of this film in a big way. It was great knowing Uday. I had not known him before. It was great working with him,” adds Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra.

But what in the world would make Priyanka Chopra do a film with strugglers Uday Chopra and Dino Morea at this stage in her career?

“When I listen to the script of this movie, I realised that this has even happened with me. So I thought that a lot of people will be able to see this movie. This is the reason that I did this film,” says Priyanka Chopra.

Bollywood actress and co-owner of Rajasthan Royals, Shilpa Shetty is going to share screen space with Australian cricketer Shane Warne in a movie to be produced by Bobby Bedi. Apart from Shane Warne, some other handsome players of the Rajasthan Royals have been roped in. Bobby Bedi thought to make film with Shilpa Shetty along with her team much before she owned the team.

Confirming the story, Shilpa said, "It's a film with some of the RR players. This was discussed before I became co-owner. The project is under review because of the shift in venue to South Africa. They would have shot some bits during the camp if the IPL had happened in India."

A source reveals, “Bedi was always very keen to do a movie with Shilpa, but couldn't find the right script. The producer has finally come across the script that not only suits the actress, but also the Rajasthan Royals' captain-cum-coach Warne. Bobby met Shilpa during her visit to Jaipur after this year's Rajasthan Royals team was finalized. They also had a dinner meeting to discuss it."

Bedi was also present at the party thrown by Shilpa and her beau Raj Kundra's along with their players at Hotel Jai Mahal Palace in Jaipur.

How much Shahrukh Khan shouts from the roof top that he shares a good camaraderie with Amitabh Bachchan or whatever Amitabh Bachchan writes on his blog stories about his friendship with Shahrukh, the truth is something else. The duo still does not share a good rapport.

In order to avoid Amitabh Bachchan who is the brand ambassador of IIFA, Shahrukh Khan has decided to skip the event. That he will be invited for the event has already been known to SRK when Big B publicly said that he would invite Shahrukh to IIFA. But grapevine abuzz that Shahrukh Khan to stay away from the event and from Amitabh has planned for a 10 day vacation to London with his family.

Kareena Kapoor who recently asked her ex love Shahid Kapur to stay away from Priyanka Chopra and move on in life has received a tight slap from Priyanka verbally. Kareena who further went to say that Shahid and Priyanka are dragging her and Saif’s name to publicize ‘Kaminey’ has further intensified Priyanka's anger and she responded hardly. Priyanka said, “Kaminey is directed by Vishal Bharadwaj whose directorial credentials don’t need any introduction and it is produced by UTV which is amongst the best production houses in the country today. Esha Deol’s staying away from films and media lead to the rumor that she has undergone botox and facelift treatment. To this rumor, mother Hema Malini reacted strongly and denied of her daughter undergoing any such cosmetic treatment. Akshay Kumar plays Viraj Shergill, a flamboyantly adventurous stuntman in Hollywood goes with the mantra of 'Women are only good for two things -' Making Love & Making Love'. And then there's Kareena Kapoor who plays Simirita Rai, a hardened feminist who has the ability to stare down the most arrogant male with her harsh, corrosive and sarcastic tone. Well, she strongly trusts "There's no such thing as love".

Thusly, imagine the situation when these stubborn characters encounter each other at Simrita's best friend Kamini's(Amrita Arora) and Viraj's brother Lucky's (Aftab Shivdasani) wedding? It's a wedding that both Viraj and Simrita are violently opposed to and desperate to stop. Sparks are bound to fly as the two are bound by the twists of fate into a situations neither ever dreamed about.
